I skated a CCS Blank custom skateboard deck. CCS lets you create a custom graphic skateboard deck of your choosing so long as it follows certain guidelines they layout letting you know. Some images like copyrighted things are going to be rejected for legal reasons and so on and so forth, but nonetheless here mine is and of course it's beyond goofy. It's also highly transformative art so eat me! They start at $60 and go up from there and rare also available in shaped decks as well. Mine is an 8.25 in width, by 32 inches in Length with a Wheel Base of 14.25. I couldn't have been more excited to finally after YEARS of seeing this program they offer and getting one myself. I loved the graphic and how it came out, the print job as well as, most importantly how it skated! So far so great and I would 10000000% grab another custom one. Especially seeing as it's no more at this point than other boards MINUS the ability to print your own graphic. NOW I will say there was a bit of issues with the peel aspect on the nose and tail/area I damaged more that wasn't the normal wear and tear of a graphic, but more of a crinkling and chipping/peeling that is in fact abnormal. Ultimately nothing too major or upsetting so we are still good on that front, but to each their own and I can absolutely see how one may feel some way after paying for it and seeing that IF it especially does it on the main graphic which mine did not to be clear. Even for the damage I did put in on it, albeit very minimal since I don't up and consistently use the middle of my board like with boardslides or lipslides etc. Also around the truck issue you will see some peeling too, likely from the truck in this instance digging into it and so on, especially as I swapped trucks at a point and then put them back on. Nonetheless I'm going to grab another one, then do a full on review with TWO in the bag to really get a feel for the quality control and all else and compare it to this first run in which again is leaving me wanting more and more. My only personal thing is running out of ideas to put on it as a graphic although I wouldn't mind running this one again no doubt. I like the shape, I like the popsicle roundness to it, very much like a traditional skateboard, and I like the kick of the nose and the tail. While looking down it looks more flat to mellow than steep, to each their own, it by no means lacked that pop that comes with a board that's more steep in the nose and tail in terms of the kick WITHOUT the drawbacks of an actual Steep kick board. So again, there's some kick to it but it's more mellow than an actual steep kick which it again isn't, but as I said does have a decent amount of steepness to it. There's a spectrum of steepness before you actually get into a board being a Steep kick vs not, same with the mellowness to flatness spectrum.
