Tired of not getting everything you paid for? Life Hack: get more for your money, get more out of your products or just get the most from your products in pump containers. Tired of soaps, lotions, sanitizers, shampoo and more left behind when the pump runs dry? A simple solution lets you get more of what you paid for from your products in pump bottles / containers. You know there is much more left in the bottle but the pump just doesn't deliver anymore. In this video you will learn why that happens and how to fix the problem and rescue the remaining product in your pump bottles. Hint: it does not involve setting the bottles at odd angles, turning them upside down or removing the pump and repeatedly smacking them against your hand only to extract a few extra drops. A brief animation clearly demonstrates the typical problem and multiple solutions are demonstrated so that you can get more of what you already paid for from your shampoo, lotion, soap and more. Four techniques (aka solutions) are explained; the swap, the extender, the replace and the cover-up. To get the lotion left inside (or soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc) you will need some extra tubing. The tube can come from another product, a water bottle/sports bottle or tubing from a hardware store. I showed the following tube sizes in this video (all found in clearance bins at local hardware stores at very cheap prices): Clear vinyl: 3/8" outside diameter (OD) X 1/4" inside diameter (ID) (moderately rigid) 3/8" Flexible water line tubing (tan color, pretty rigid) Ice Maker tubing: 1/4" OD (Ultra Strong EZ-PEX tubing, pretty rigid) White silicone tubing: 1/4" ID X 7/16" OD X 3/32" wall thickness (moderately rigid) NOTE: rubber / surgical tubing is too flexible and can collapse in on itself when pumping products I hope that you find this hack to be helpful and possibly a money saving idea.
