The #Phaius loves humidity in the air, and not the excessive dry heat that I have here in Southern Spain. Mine forgives me for what it has to deal with! Unfortunately, the conditions that I have are really detrimental to the foliage. Mine get detroyed at a certain point, by wind, and sometimes, pounding relentless rain.
