TD3MO bass line and basis of RD78 drums were sketched first on my Roland T8 (not used in the final mix). I used my Roland S1 to make keys and melody. The TD3 acid line basically just follows the melody note for note minus a few steps. S1 melody is played at high mid-high frequencies for a lot of the jam. Had a fun little learning experience with this one because I realised the TD3 acid line sounded much better in square wave with distortion active alongside the S1 melody. Someone who actually understands music might describe what I’m trying to say in the comments in music terms, but I feel like the two worked well together to create a broader sound. When I first trialled the TD3 line on saw wave it sounded very out of place! Anyway this is my third month of music starting everything from zero… appreciate any feedback or comment, I know it’s not perfect but it brings me joy! !Enjoy the Acid!
