It's an extremely straightforward synthesizer and can sound thinner than the big Poly Synths of that time. But I find this can be a positive with tighter sounds and there is the famous Chorus effect on there to beef things up and give the sound extra dimension. It is like a 6 voice polyphonic version of the SH-09 with a digitally controlled oscillator, chorus and an arpeggiator. The perfect first synth for someone who wishes to start a journey into the world of hardware synths and wants something vintage that is reliable.
