Carnivore Review of 'Why We Get Sick' | Why Insulin Resistance Matters

This is a review by a Carnivore Dieter, me, of the book "Why We Get Sick: The Hidden Epidemic at the Root of Most Chronic Disease--And How to Fight It" by Dr. Benjamin Bikman. I found this book to be very revealing about why a carnivore diet has done so much to relieve me of so many issues I once faced, including leaky gut, hypertension, GERD, obesity, and anxiety & depression. I think this is a must-read for almost anyone eating the Standard American Diet as well as anyone on a low-carb/high-fat diet like the carnivore diet, Lion Diet, or even Keto. Vegans and vegetarians could benefit from this knowledge as well... honestly, anybody who eats food would benefit from this book, so that should cover the spread for anyone being left out. Insulin resistance is not just something diabetics should be concerned about; it affects a lot more people than I would have ever thought so I encourage you to read it yourself, and hopefully, this review will give you the highlights you need to realize the value of reading it as well.
