It's won a Guinness World Record and it's right here in Ontario, the world's smallest movie theatre. The owner of the Little Prince says the process to get the recognition took over a year, but's it's worth it. The micro-theatre officially opened in October 2021, Leigh Cooney says he designed it to give an old-fashion experience. "We drew from anything from the victorian era to the roaring twenties so it's a mish-mash of those eras which I am just a big fan of." Even though you feel like you're in the 20s, you still have to book it online. And the weekends are almost fully booked for the rest of the month. They have over 30-thousand movies that guests can choose from, ranging from 1914 to 2021. Because of COVID restrictions and limited seating they started off just renting the space out for private events like birthday parties for a couple of hours. Cooney says he can't wait to get more guests and to finally receive the certificate from Guinness that's coming from England.
