💜 Celebrating the Seo Taiji and Boys' 25th anniversary BTS remade "Come Back Home", reflecting a similar sentiment to the societal change that Seo argued for in his songs. This was the first official remake of the song since its release in 1995. Seo Taiji and Boys was a South Korean boy band during the years 1992-1996. They successfully changed the South Korean music industry by pioneering rap in Korean popular music and utilizing social critique, despite pressure from ethics and censorship committees. The band was also the first to turn dance into a dominant feature in performance by including breakdancing routines. "Come Back Home," was inspired by Seo Taiji very own experience. He has stated in an interview, "When I was young I ran away from home a lot. I made the song from my own experiences. While I was out, I went through a lot of trouble, did a lot of hard work, and learned a lot. But in the end, our parents are always worried about us. It's about how you can achieve your dreams in your own home." Seo Taiji invited BTS to perform eight songs with him at his special 25th-anniversary concert.
