TAJIKISTAN: Not What I Expected! | 7 Lakes, Panjshanbe & Panjakent Bazaar, Khujand, Lenin Statue

Tajikistan was more than what I had expected. From the moment we crossed the Land Border Crossing between Uzbkeistan to Tajikistan, the landscape change was immediately. Locals we met were also amazingly friendly and accommodating. In 24 hours, we explored the stunning landscapes of 7 Lakes (OK, we only managed to see six lakes becos of poor weather and road conditions), and even popped by the Khujand Fortress and Museum to learn about historical leaders. We also managed to see one of the largest standing Lenin statues in the world, and bought our supply of bananas at Panjakent and Panjshanbe bazaars.
