Day 6 at King of the Hammers—and honestly, a slower day is very welcome around here. Shannon & Jess take some time to walk around Hammertown, grab an ice cream, and catch up with friends—including a visit with AMSOIL. We also finally get the chance to check out the WARN VIP tent, and wow… what an awesome setup. Huge thanks to Tom Beebe for the hookup—we’ll definitely be utilizing that space more as race week ramps up. As the day winds down, we do what lakebed pros do—we call it an early night. Netflix on, lights out before 10pm. These calm nights on the lakebed are appreciated because we all know things are about to get wild as race week approaches.
