Vegan Fun, Fun Vegan. Today we're gonna using Vegan Shrimp making Crispy Shrimp Toast. It's not oily and full of flavourful & texture. My grandpa served Crispy Shrimp toasts topped with red and sweet canned cherry fruit in his restaurant. I love it so much and was inspired by making it in vegan version. So Vegan, So Delicious! Let's get started! Before starting, remember to subscribe for supporting my channel (訂閱按這裡): / @veganfun4812 You will need: 16-20 vegan Shrimp (mine are made of Konjac) 200g vegan ground meat (I use Beyond meat ground beef) 25g pecan 10 small slices of vegan bread For the seasoning, you will need: 100g sweet potato starch 2.5 teaspoons of smoked paprika powder 1 tablespoon of garlic powder 1 teaspoon of white pepper powder 1 teaspoon of salt For decoration 20pcs mini strawberry or raspberry Vegan Mayo Preparation: Thaw out the vegan shrimp one day before to make the vegan shrimp much softer and easily scored. Instruction: 1. Scoring the vegan shrimp as video shown, not slicing, don't cut it through. Then stretch the shrimp a bit. 2. Mix all the seasoning ingredients. Then dip the shrimp with some water, then cover with the seasoned sweet potato starch. Then let the shrimps sit at room temp for a while. 3. In the mean time, chop the pecan in small pieces, then mix with 200g ground meat. The ground meat I used is already seasoned and its texture is sticky, so I didn't add anything else. Divide the mixture into 10 portions which is about 20-22g per serving. Shape each portion as a rugby. 4. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 180 degree Celsius. Dip the vegan shrimp into the seasoned sweet potato starch again, then let the shrimp holds the meat ball and press it tightly, then attach it to the bread. 5. Spray the oil on the surface of vegan shrimp and bread, then air fry for 15minutes around or until the shrimp bread is golden brown and crispy. 6. Put one mini strawberry to the skewer and load the piping bag with vegan mayo. Then insert the strawberry skewer to the shrimp bread and using the vegan mayo for the drizzling.
