So my name is Kellen Berry, I'm the founder of My Spouti, LLC and I created Spouti, a wearable STP device. My journey started when, I guess about 4 years ago when I started medical transition. As a transgender man standing to pee is an important part of my identity. I spent hundreds of dollars on stp prosthetics that just didn't work. it felt like using the men's room was just never going to be a possibility for me and I decided that I had to do something about it myself. So I went and purchased some silicone, I started working with 3D modeling, we have a 3D printer, we fired that up and I created Spouti™ So, Spouti™is completely different from the other options out there not just in design, but also in functionality. One of the things we really wanted to focus on with Spouti was not just improved performance but also improved accessibility. Most STP devices marketed to transgender men focus on realistic prosthetics this makes the prosthetic unapproachable for nonbinary and female people who would also like to stand to pee I've spoken with hundreds of stp users and stp companies and we all have the same complaints about the options that are available: They leak, they don't stay in place, or they require this perfect angle, and they leave behind urine deposits Spouti™ creates a gentle seal right around your urethra ensuring you have a seamless passageway for urine. We worked with a lot of testers and one of the testers came back and his response was that it [Spouti™] was empowering for him. He felt whole. It was his first time being able to stand to pee with an STP Being able to share that is really important to us Spouti™ is ready for production we've started the tooling process, uh, the silicone selection we're narrowing down - we've gone one or two to pick - and I'm working on a great teal color I need help with the last leg of the journey.
