In this video Josh demonstrates the cooling capability of Ceres' Ground to Air Heat Transfer (GAHT®) System in this Wheatland, Wyoming Barn Kit greenhouse. A GAHT® system, sometimes referred to as a ‘climate battery’, allows the greenhouse to provide its own heating and cooling using the energy of the sun and the soil underground. By utilizing this system, one is effectively able to create a geothermal greenhouse designed for renewable climate control and year-round growing, with a much lower environmental impact of a traditional HVAC system. To learn more about this technology, visit our website: https://ceresgs.com/gaht-system/?utm_... this greenhouse has our ground air heat transfer system installed in it there's actually two units there's a eastern module which is this exhaust with an intake and there's the western one which is this exhaust with an intake in the northwest corner it intakes hot air from high in the greenhouse blows it underground it cools in the soil and when it exhausts it exhausts much cooler than the intake it's intaking at about 108°F up high in the greenhouse and it's exhausting at 78°F so that's like a 30° delta the the reverse of this is as it gets colder outside we can start pulling cooler air through the warm soil and the exhaust will be warmer than the intake and this will work as a heater we have a lot of growers who can use this GAHT® system as their only heating Source through a whole winter but this system will prevent this greenhouse from freezing throughout the entire winter
