This beautiful composition of the maestro AR Rahman, that has been sung by himself and Chinmayi Sripaada, and written by Gulzar sahab, has been an all time of favorite of mine. This song was dedicated by AR Rahman to the legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sahab. The movie won the Filmfare awards for the Best Music (AR Rahman), Best Background Score (AR Rahman), Best Female Playback Singer (Shreya Ghoshal for 'Barso Re'), Best Choreography (Saroj Khan for 'Barso Re'), and Best Art Direction (Samir Chanda).
