Satisfying Waterjet Project We take you along in this satisfying waterjet project. The material we use in this video is 100mm Stainless Steel 3.1 certified. The parts will be machined later by milling. We cut these parts out of disks to keep as little residual material as possible. Waterjet cutting machines have enormous power and can deliver a very precise cutting quality. Almost anything can be cut, think of metals, wood, stone, glass, plastics. You can make it as crazy as you want. Waterjet cutting machines do not bring heat into the material that is being cut. This ensures that the material properties remain the same. For some parts this is very important because of the high demands in some projects. These parts are cut in standard cutting quality 3. The tolerances in this quality are +/-0.3mm. In Quality 5 we can achieve +/-0.1mm! The cutting time will increase in this quality to be even more precise. Q1 is more intended for soft materials, and will be faster.
