While Hartzell propellers are best known for their use in smaller birds like Cessnas and Pipers, the manufacturer offers more than 400 blade designs suited to anything from ultralights to large turboprops. These designs have been standard or optional equipment on Cessna models, like the 182, 210, and 208 Caravan, as well as the Piper Cherokee, Mooney M20C, Beechcraft King Air 350, and more. One of the prop maker’s more recent partnerships is with Daher. Its 5-blade composite propellers are factory-installed on the TBM 960 and Kodiak 900 and available for retrofits with the TBM 850 and Kodiak 100.
