He was having a very poor quality of life, as his diet, sleep and work all were affected due to acid reflux problems. His symptoms led to a lot of stress, as he was losing hope for good control for his problems. At such a fragile moment in his life, he chose to consult Dr Chirag for his problems. He was led to a thorough evaluation in the form of an upper GI endoscopy, esopahgeal manometry, 24 hr pH Impedance study, some blood test, and his clinical and psychology evaluation. As he had severe acid reflux, he was advised a laparoscopic fundoplication surgery. Along with surgery, he was advised some medications for inital period for his functional digestive problems. He was also advised a normal healhty diet and stress management exercises. With all this and with a regular long term follow up by our team, here He is, leading a good quality of life even after 5 years of surgery.
