Twenty-seven slides showing how L- peptides alone or L- and D- peptides together can join to form a cyclic peptide. Each of the cyclic peptides can be expanded by adding pairs of residues to at the proper locations. A cyclic peptide with alpha helixes can be expanded by adding additional turns to each of the helixes. Each of the assemblies is presented with its constituent peptides shown separately. The L- and D- peptides of the mixed assemblies are colored to emphasize their relative locations. Each peptide is shown in He-octa detail and without sidechain.
