A research method for the analysis of conflicts and finding consensus in planning and urban transformation, especially for the analysis of different, interacting perspectives given in the field of urban development planning and heritage management. Analysing different forms of urban governance, or the various forms of participation in decision-making, reveals the risk of discursive conflict but also highlights opportunities to overcome such conflicts and achieve consensus between stakeholders.
