Concord Police Department - Prom Promise

Prom season has arrived for schools in Cabarrus County. Concord Police, in partnership with Cabarrus Health Alliance and Cabarrus County Schools, have launch the Prom Promise program to educate student about the dangers of drinking and driving. This past week, Concord Police officers visited Cox Mill High School and Concord High School where the students were given the chance to view a video on drinking and driving, try on goggles that simulated various levels of intoxication and were asked to sign a pledge to stay safe and sober. Concord Police will also be visiting Central Cabarrus High School and J.M. Robinson High School as their prom weekends approach.
