Discovery of a Prehistoric Underground Megastructure in Russia - The Khara-Hora Well

The remote and rugged region of the North Caucasus in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic of the Russian Federation is a place of towering mountains and wild nature. However, in 2011, Arthur Zhemukhov, a Russian speleologist who scientifically studies and explores caves, made a startling discovery at the top of the Khara-Hora mountain. There he found a vertical, narrow and deep shaft that seemed to have been swallowed by the Earth itself. It consisted of parallel stone slabs that looked perfectly geometric, as if they had been artificially made. The walls, straight and polished, went 40 meters deep into the mountain, before opening into a vast underground chamber. The straight walls of this shaft were made of large megalithic blocks that fitted into each other at right angles with minimal gaps. There were even large stones that looked like columns.
