Vintage Story is a hardcore, realistic voxel-based survival sandbox game that looks like a blocky world (similar to Minecraft) but offers deep, complex survival mechanics, emphasizing homesteading, crafting, exploration, and surviving harsh conditions, from primitive tools to later medieval tech, with a unique lore and occasional eldritch horror elements. Its known as a grown-up or hardcore Minecraft for players seeking a steep learning curve with rewarding progression through realistic challenges like food spoilage, resource scarcity, and dangerous creatures, moving beyond basic survival to advanced farming, pottery, and metallurgy. In this series we will be slowly working our way toward building an entire settlement and honing my building techniques, and maybe even tackle some of the story content.
