Fatsan Pakmei tested on figthing interstyles championship

A month ago I lead a team to an open inter style fighting championship. Our idea was to put Fatsan Pakmei kung-fu into a ruled competition in front of Muay Thai, Taekwondo, MMA, Kick Boxing, Wingchun and Sanda schools. Of course, even the rules was very permissive and allowed us to use a lot of strikes, only a small portion of the style can be applied. Here is a medley of few strikes who was used by my students. There is not shown a simple direct strikes, punch or kicks, which are of course, a part of Pakmei as well as any other martial arts. So, you can see here only some really specific ones. About the low quality of the combats: they was recorded far from the stage, i then needed to zoom it and we lost a lot of the quality, sorry for that. Last word: most of my students never been into combat sport, never fought in any combat sport, and of course never in Leitai combat (1m hight traditional stage) still, they made at profit our training. We reached schools second place in term of result n front of around 10 different schools. I am proud of them even if there is some effort to keep and we will try to do better and better in the futur. So please, if you never fought into free rules competitions or in the street and have for only reference 70’s Jacky Chan movies, keep to yourself your thoughts and bad criticisms.
