@JFLOJUDO hosted a 2-day seminar at Combat Arts Academy in Seattle, WA. This is the 2nd day, focused on nogi. We warmed up with simple games, then learned the ideas behind a good snapdown, pass to the back and continuation into a double leg takedown. Professor went over a grip break into a cross grip and demonstrated the elbow pass then moved onto studying sasae tsurikomi ashi. Justin went over the execution of it, setups and counters that you can expect so you can react accordingly. Last 20 minutes he spent time answering questions from the class and went over things like executing sasae in left vs. right (kenka yotsu), ouchi gari without landing and sankaku time (traditional and reverse) from the turtle. Absolutely mesmerizing to be learning from someone that achieved a very high level of skill in 3 grappling disciplines and is able to merge them so flawlessly. Checkout his YouTube channel and virtual academy to learn more from him (YouTube won't allow me to post the website in the description) Chapters: 00:00:00 - Push Hands Game 00:00:29 - Touch The Knee Game 00:01:51 - One Leg Judo Game 00:03:12 - Get Double Unders Game 00:05:14 - Beach Towel Snapdowns 00:08:45 - Snapdown Uchikomi 00:10:39 - Waiter Pass To The Back 00:16:28 - Snapdown -Transition - Double Leg Takedown 00:22:57 - Grip Break (Opposite to an Arm Drag) 00:26:04 - Grip Break to Cross Grip 00:28:02 - Elbow Pass 00:31:39 - Sasae Tsurikomi Ashi 00:35:20 - Sasae To Snapdown 00:38:44 - Knee Tap To Sasae 00:41:01 - Double Underhook Sasae 00:43:03 - Q&A Session 00:44:44 - Kenka Yotsu Sasae Setup 00:48:29 - Ouchi Gari 00:50:49 - Applying Sasae To MMA 00:51:49 - Receiving Double Leg 00:55:16 - Countering Overhook Uchimata 00:56:09 - Counters To Sasae Counter Attacks 00:58:19 - Sankaku Jime From Snapdown (Turtle Position) 01:01:14 - Reverse Sankaku
