The car involved was also used in two recent attempted robberies in Caroni and Carapichaima. • Ten men emerged from the same Hyundai i30 motor car and another vehicle on Monday, March 17th, 2025, and they attempted to break into a family's residence at Ramjass Street, Waterloo Road, Carapichaima. On Wednesday, March 13th, the same car was used along with another vehicle in which approximately six bandits tried to break into the home of a Chinese businessman during the early hours. • The victim fired a warning shot with his licensed pistol, causing the suspects to flee the scene. Police sever ties with garage where 8 stolen vehicles were found among 100+ police vehicles. • The police on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, removed just over 100 marked police vehicles from a Fernando garage where stolen vehicles were found. • From as early as 7 a.m., a team of officers returned to Southern Performance Limited garage located between Marabella and Pointe-a-Pierre, where they supervised the removal of the police vehicles.
