Just as in physics, there is an observer effect in biology. I HAD to use a dive light to film this small goby. As a consequence, I attracted lots of small crustaceans, Also in the video: ladies panties, found in shallow waters, catfish stirring up sediment, and crabs (?) and shrimps. The catfish stirred up silt in front of my shot of a Pleurobranch. I filmed a school while swimming backwards … not easy. I love catfish, I grew up with amazonian catfish in fish tanks in Austria.
