Disclaimer for the Ukraine Series (as I’ve gotten a number of questions about this): Why is there Russian and Soviet music? You may ask. So on YouTube if a person is to use new music, they will get copy right strikes and or demonetized. Within this series I use a lot of older Ukrainian, Soviet and Russian music… this is to add to a certain scene to make it flow better, or because I thought it fit. Additionally the music I use won’t get me demonetized or have copy right strikes (at least so far). Many times in this series I’ll be using old Soviet Union clips as well (from typically propaganda movies within the old collapsed Soviet Era). These clips are used to show the contrast of a time that is far gone, and the current situation + division between the Russian, and Ukrainian people (for good reason as Russia invaded Ukraine). With the disclaimer out of the way… I hope you enjoy :) This is the first episode of my Ukraine series. I arrived in the country and began in Lviv, before traveling to Kyiv where I joined mass protests in the streets. From there, I went to Sumy — just 20km from Russian positions — to see how people live next to the front lines. This series is about showing Ukraine unfiltered: the energy of its cities, the resilience of its people, and the reality of war beyond the headlines.
