Hello Family! How many of ya’ll know about the 'Duckwalk?' 🦆 Mr. Len Chess of Chess Records fame picked a winner when he signed Chuck Berry. In the winter of ‘58 Chuck recorded “Johnny B. Goode”, and it set fire to what became the Rock n Roll music scene. Chuck described his new music style as a mixture of country, gospel, and the blues. He took his show across the pond and back, and the rest is history! Although there were ducks present at today’s video performance, let’s just say I’m still getting a handle on my version of the 'duckwalk' - but I did bring my boot, scoot n’ boogie with me! 😇 I hope this takes you back to the days of poodle skirts and jukeboxes!
