TIGER – Nature’s strongest, meanest & most charismatic of the mega-fauna. 1] Krishna’s Son Rathambore, 2019 Krishna’s Son is a very bold tiger & the prince of Ranthambore 2] Bittu & Srinivas (T-10) Umred Karhandla, 2015 Bittu & Srinivas born to Jai & Chandi in the Gothangaon range. Srinivas died of electrocution in April 2017 & Bittu also disappeared. 3] Machli (T-16) Ranthambore, 2014 Machli the world’s most famous tigress, born in 1996 & passed away on 18 th August 2016. This legendary tigress played a key role in the generation of tiger population in the park. 4] Bajrang (T-49) Tadoba, 2018 Bajrang one of the dominant males of Tadoba. He covers a huge territory & is often seen in core as well as buffer areas of Tadoba. 5] Archie Tipeswhar, 2019 Archie is the queen of Tipeshwar & is famous for sitting long hours in the waterhole. 6] Maya (T-12) Tadoba, 2016 Maya is the friendly queen of Tadoba. A Tigress who is seen by almost every tourist visiting this forest. 7] Matkasur (T-54) Tadoba, 2018 Matkasur is the most dominant male & hence the King of Tadoba. Also known as Maya’s husband. 8] Jr Kankati With Cubs (T-35) Bandhavgarh, 2017 Jr Kankati was enjoying her family life in May 2017 when this footage was taken but unfortunately she was poached & skinned & her skeletal remains were found in October 2017. 9] Bamera’s Son (T-37) Bandhavgarh, 2017 Bamera’s Son also known as Bamera Junior would spend significant amount of time with Jr Kankati & cubs at the waterhole. 10] Krishna (T-19) Ranthambore, 2019 Krishna is the daughter of the legendary Machli & one of the dominant tigress of Ranthambore. 11] Hirdinala Cubs Tadoba, 2017 Hirdinala cubs born to Hirdinala female in the Kolsa range of Tadoba. 12] Sonam (T-30) Tadoba, 2016 Sonam one of the four Telia sisters she ousted her own mother to establish territory in & around Telia lake. 13] Shivanzari Female (T-6) With Cubs Tadoba, 2016 Shivanzari Female named after the Shivanzari area her family used to reside in the Kolsa range of Tadoba. 14] Jai (T-108) Ranthambore, 2019 Jai born to Ladli & Kumbha in November 2016. His sibling Veeru (T-109) died in October 2019 in fierce conflict with Fateh (T-42). 15] Katrina (BT-3) Bor, 2016. Katrina queen of Bor she has delivered 13 Cubs in 3.5 Years. 16] Baras (KT-65) Pench, 2018 Baras is one of the most sighted tigress in Khursapar range, Pench. 17] Noor (T-39) Ranthambore, 2014 Noor also known as Mala she is one of the dominant tigress of Ranthambore & mighty mom as well. 18] Dotty (T-17) Bandhavgarh, 2017 Dotty is Spotty’s sibling & found in Magdhi zone of Bandhavgarh. 19] Spotty (T-41) Bandhavgarh, 2017 Spotty is sister of Dotty & derives her name from the mark “T” above her right eye. She resides in Tala zone. 20] Kuani Female (T-14) With Cubs Tadoba, 2017 Kuani female with cubs found in the Kuani area of Kolsa range of Tadoba. 21] Walker (T1C1) Tipeshwar, 2019 Wallker has successfully walked 3000 Kms moving from Tipeshwar to Dnyanganga, Buldana. His walk reiterates the importance of corridors & connectivity. 22] B2 Bandhavgarh, 2008 B2 one of the biggest males of his times from Bandhavgarh. 23] Telia family Madhuri (T-10) & Four Teliya sisters Tadoba, 2012 Sighting of Telia family consisting of Madhuri tigress & cubs named Mona, Geeta, Lara & Sonam was guaranteed if anyone visited Tadoba in the summer of 2012. Nature guides & locals play a prominent roles in naming the Tigers in tourist zones of Reserves, developing an emotional bonding between tourists & Tigers.
