It was composed by Osvaldo Morineaud Arriagada, a Chilean Air Force meteorologist that lived in the Chilean town of Villa Las Estrellas in 1988. It is considered an unofficial anthem of the territory and usually is played in the local radio and ceremonies. It is also played at Lt.
