Sambad-Ama Odisha Hosts Annual School-Level Competitions State-wide

Today marks the annual school-level competitions organized by 'Sambad-Aama Odisha' as part of Sambad's anniversary celebrations. These competitions will be held across all blocks, urban local bodies, and municipal corporation areas of the state, utilizing approximately 600 examination centers. Around 3 lakh students have registered to participate in language proficiency, essay writing, and drawing competitions. Students who haven't registered can still participate by showing their school ID cards. The competitions are categorized by grade: drawing for classes 1-5, handwriting for classes 6-8, and language proficiency and essay writing for classes 9-10. The examinations will commence at 10 AM. Drawing and language proficiency/essay competitions will have a duration of 1 hour, while the handwriting competition will be 30 minutes. Drawing topics will be provided 30 minutes before the exam. Evaluation of answer sheets and prize distribution for winners (first, second, and third place) will take place at each examination center on the same day. The top three answer sheets from each center will then undergo re-evaluation at the state level to select three state-level winners in each category. These state-level winners will be honored with cash prizes and certificates at Sambad's annual function.
