My 2nd and last session of the day for this year's awesome Ginetta Want2race competition. Turn 3 was my nemesis the entire day, as due to the rain it was now a 2nd gear corner instead of 3rd. I chose yesterday to not try heel and toe as the pedals (although perfect for it) were so much closer together than anything I've driven that I knew it would have thrown me. As a result, everytime I downshifted into this corner it would be whilst turning in, and lock up the rears. This resulted in a massive sideways moment and eventually a clumsy spin. I was able to compensate with my speed just enough to hold it together on my last lap, which I was very happy with, but the damage had been done. Regardless, it was a fantastic experience pushing these cars to the limit with such quality instructors urging you on, they really are awesome to drive and the right man won this year! Roll on next year!
