A nagging easterly wind will continue to feed cloud and rain into eastern Scotland, while the west enjoys a drier, brighter day. Northern Ireland will also turn drier, but England and Wales will see showers rotating around low pressure. Milder southerly winds will lift temperatures to 10 - 12°C in the south, while northeast Scotland and Aberdeenshire stay colder. Showers will persist into the evening, with eastern Scotland, eastern Northern Ireland and southwest England remaining particularly wet. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the morning of 07/02/2026.
