Fundamental Rights and D.P.S.P. are complementary. FRs ensure individual freedom while D.P.S.P. ensure social justice. Together they stablish India as a welfare democracy. D.P.S.P. is based on three main principles: 1) Socialist Principles, 2) Gandhian Principles, 3) Liberal - Intellectual Principles. Let's Discuss these three Principles one by one: 1) Socialist Principles :- Aim - Social & Economic justice Articles - 38,39,41,42,43,47,39(d)1 Article 38 - For social justice. Articles 39 & 41 - Work & Wages. These articles aim to promote social and economic welfare, ensuring basic rights and dignity for citizens. Articles 42 & 43 - These articles focus on worker's rights aiming to ensure fair treatment, safety and dignity in the workplace. Provision for maternity relief and ensures human conditions of work. Article 47 - Ensures living standard, health & nutrition. Article 39(d) - This article aims to promote gender equality and prevent discrimination based on sex in matter of employment and pay. This ensures men and women should receive the same remuneration for performing the same work or work of equal value. 2) Gandhian Principles :- Aim : Reflect Gandhiji's Ideals Articles : 40, 43, 46, 47 and 48 We can learn these articles with the help of a Mnemonic: "Gandhiji was a Very Important Person for Common People"(VIP for CP) V - Village Panchyats Article 40 I - Industries (Cottage, Khadi) Article 43 P - Protect weaker section, tribals Article 46 C - Cow & Cattle protection Article 48 P - Prohibition of intoxicating drinks Article 47 These Principles aim to promote rural development, self-reliance and social welfare reflecting Gandhiji's emphasis on village -centric development and social reform. 3) Liberal - Intellectual Principles :- Aim : Modern Democratic Ideals Articles : 44, 45, 48A, 49, 50 and 51 Article 44 - Uniform Civil Code Article 45 - Literacy & free education Articles 48A & 49 - Protect monuments & environment. Article 50 - This article directs the government to keep the Judiciary independent from the executive so that justice remains free from political or administrative influence, ensuring the rule of Law in the country. Article 51 - International peace दोस्तों पिछली कक्षा मे हमने मौलिक अधिकारों के बारे में जाना और आज,राष्ट्र के नीति निर्देशक सिद्धांतों के बारे मे, अब आईए हम इनदोनों को एक साथ लेकर कुछ महत्वपूर्ण बातों को जान लें : 1) Fundamental Rights are in Part 3rd,Article 12 - 35 of the Indian Constitution.D.P.S.P is in part 4th,Article 36 - 51of the Indian Constitution. 2) Fundamental Rights ristrict state's power, by nature it is negative obligations. D.P.S.P guide state to act, by nature it is positive obligations. 3) Fundamental Rights are justiciable and can be enforced in a court of Law. D.P.S.P. are not justiciable and cannot be enforced in court of Law. 4) Fundamental Rights protect individual liberty and Rights.
