Revision Knee Surgeon - Cardiff/London Rhidian has dedicated his career to treating complex knee conditions, especially prosthetic joint infections, something most surgeons dread to think about. He runs a national and international service for the management of infected total knee replacement, re-revision knee replacement and chronic osteomyelitis. He undertakes young adult and complex primary knee replacement along with revision arthroscopy. He is currently an elected British Orthopaedics Association (BOA) trustee and serves on several national committees working on infection and revision knee services. He was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales in 2000. In May 2023 he moved to Colchester Hospital, Essex to work as the Revision Knee lead and help develop the regional network Major Revision Centre. An international lecturer on Revision Knee Replacement and Orthopaedic Infection. Has published over 120 papers and books and is in constant demand to speak, Teach and Chair at conferences Worldwide.
