Baked Persimmon | 焼き柿 | 구운 감 Today's menu is 'Baked Persimmon'. Apparently, this recipe was really popular on Japanese Twitter like 6 months ago. I'm only used to eating 'Raw persimmon' or 'Gotgam' (Dried Persimmon) and so, when I first found out about this recipe I thought it was weird. But now that I've tried it, I can sort of see why it became popular. When baked, the taste of persimmon changes to something like a sweet potato and the result is kinda like 'JUICY baked sweet potato'. Maybe because both has high dietary fibre? Who knows...
