Watch this bike tour of Casey Key, one of Western Florida's most expensive and exclusive places on an 8-mile barrier island that boasts amazing water views. Casey Key is between Siesta Key and Venice. It boasts exclusive homes for the wealthy and famous. Approx. 400 people live on the island including Stephen King. Yes, Stephen King, the writer 😊. There are two bridges that connect to the island. Either via the north entrance or the South entrance. The north bridge called Blackburn Point Bridge is a historic bridge because it is one of only two swing bridges left in the U.S. from the 1920s. We will start from Blackburn Point Bridge and ride along Casey Key Road all the way down to the North Jetty Beach. First we will make a right from Black Point Road onto North Casey Key Road and ride towards the infamous house that, per rumors, was once owned by Joseph Watts, who was the accomplice to crime boss John Gotti. We will then turn around and go all the way down Casey Key Road towards the end of the stretch which is the North Jetty Beach.
