I ususally use C.R.E.A.M. for twist-outs, but I thought it would be fun to do a "juicier" version of our infamous MOUSSE DEF wash & go. After cleansing and conditioning, I applied C.R.E.AM. to Tia's clean, damp hair in small sections, smoothing through from root to ends with my fingers, making sure to rake through each section until her curls "clumped" at the ends (about 4-6 passes per section). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Once the curls were defined, I applied a layer of MOUSSE DEF Texture Foam around her edges, and to her ends to aid in humidity resistance, add hold, and to prevent shrinkage throughout the week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the essence of time, she sat under a hooded dryer for 15-20 minutes, but I recommend air-drying whenever time allows, in order to maximize moisture retention and to help prevent shrinkage. You may also diffuse, but be careful not to over-manipulate the hair while drying. Doing so breaks the cast of the styling product, and has a tendency to create frizz. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Finally, we slicked her edges with SWAG GOO Edge Contol Gel, and fluffed her roots by placing my fingers at her scalp. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This trio is great for girls who want the Wash & Go look, but want more moisture.
