Today I got Metrogether Train Simulator on steam. It came out recently and is now on sale at https://store.steampowered.com/app/32... (I get nothing from this link). I live streamed it earlier today and could not find out how to get into dispatcher/signaler mode. Later on this evening I gave it another go and found how to do it. I found a door and behind it was the signal box. This lifts the game to being worth the cash. I bought this in the winter sale and gave it a play on live stream then again afterwards on a recorded session. You can drive trains that are not particularly realistic, check tickets and dispatch trains. The passenger model is pretty good the behavior is great much better than passengers in other train games. The game itself is simple, relaxing and intuitive. It certainly is not a serious simulator but I could see myself run some hours in this thing. Initially I thought it was not worth it, but now that I've found dispatch mode then I've changed my mind. The passenger models are quite course but the costumes are hilarious. What is even better (and so not PC - yay) is the titles of the passengers that turn up on the tickets. I'm sure there will be an uproar with some people but I can see it the way it is meant. If you're up for a bit of fun with trains and a busy simple guard mode and an intuitive dispatch mode then give it a try. Note in the video I say it was A$17 its actually A$18.55 and there is a DLC that lets you change the train colours. If you get both toghether its A$21.18 until Jan 6th. I stumbled upon something I didn't expect! It turns out you don't need Discord to be a dispatcher in this game. Today, I’m showing you how the signaling system works, why it reminds me of Rail Route, and how to keep your trains running on time without crashing the network. From "Get Off My Train!" ticket inspections to custom PIS messages and high-speed driving, this sim is full of surprises. What’s inside: Real-time Signaling: Setting routes from Cheddar to Broad Street. Driving Preview: Station stops, door controls, and physics. Passenger Chaos: Dealing with "Wild Bill," "Marilyn Monroe," and some very questionable tickets. If you enjoy train sims with a bit of personality, this one is a must-watch!
