This is the second part of the series showing aftermath of flooded basement remediation. Our basement flooded after we got hit by Hurricane Ida. In this series, I show how I dealt with the aftermath of the flood and What to Do when your basement floods by DIYing everything that was urgently necessary to save your basement and create a flood damage resistant basement! My insurance was not covering the damage so I decided to take action asap before mold and mildew take over the space. My basement got about 2-3 inches of water so this video is about for small floods like mine. If you have a major flood issue what I do here may not apply to your situation but you can still get some ideas and tips. I have two parts to this video as it's a long process doing it all by myself.
