An AI Irish Folk Song - The Salt & The Stone

A bit of a change from the norm for this channel. This started with simple violin loop (the intro) which I 'borrowed' from another YouTube video. I loaded this as a 'sample' into Suno and together with a set of lyrics I had Google Gemini generate for me from a brief description I gave it of the vibe I was looking for, it came up with this song. I cropped the intro and added back the original violin loop in its raw form with a bit of reverb and then overdubbed the same at various points in the piece as a recurring motif where it would fit seamlessly. The images are generated using Google Nano Banana Pro via Higgsfield AI from prompts which give all the lyrics to establish context and in which I also request certain lines of the lyrics to be focused on to generate the images specific to that part of the narrative where required. The image generation part was probably the longest but really only because I generated at least twice as many images as I actually ended up using and the final selection and placement in the timeline is quite time consuming. All images are generated 4K for lots of cool detail on screens that support that resolution. I used DaVinci Resolve Studio to put it all together along with the subtitles which were imported via srt file that I got Google Gemini to give me based upon its own generated lyrics. All I had to do then was to line up each caption with the vocals in the audio. And I think that's it.
