この曲は私の世代のものではないことは承知していますが、香港には故ロマン・タム（故人）が歌った広東語版があり、かつて香港で最も人気のある歌手の一人でした。なので、幼い頃から知っていました。父の車の中でよく聴いていた曲です。でも、少し調べてみたら、この曲の由来が信じられませんでした。ベートーヴェンの曲の一つだったんです！しかも、私が知らない曲ではありませんでした。「エリーゼのために」です！「パッションフラワー」も「エリーゼのために」から来ているので、かなり驚きました。とにかく、ついにザ・ピーナッツのこの素晴らしい曲を皆さんに演奏することができました！気に入っていただけると嬉しいです！ ええ、まだ夏休み中ですが、思ったよりずっと忙しくて。もちろんバンドの練習もありますし、新曲を作ったり、9月のライブに向けて曲を準備したりしています。それと、テレビ局のプロデューサーから父に電話があって、私たちのバンド「コットンキッズ」の特集番組を作りたいって。カメラクルーが派遣されて、いろんな場所で撮影したりインタビューしたりするんだって。もうすでに楽しそうでしょ？本当に楽しそう。その間、私は一人でVlogを準備していて、もうすぐ完成させたいと思ってる。 今日は一日中ひどい雨で、市内の多くの場所、特に島側は浸水しちゃった。外に出て美味しい夕食を食べに行ったんだけど、父が運転してくれたので靴は濡れなかった。家で曲を書いて、このビデオを撮影するためにクルーが来るのを待ってた以外に、Vlog以外に何をしてたっていうの？まあ、誰かが座ってても飛び上がらないように、じっと座っててね。うちの猫の阿花と、うちの猫の「秋天」が喧嘩してるのを見ていたの。阿花は遊びたいのに、秋天はいつも静かにしてるの。どうなったかな？阿花は1歳半、秋天は6歳。秋天はきっと厳しい環境で育ったのでしょう。阿花は喧嘩で目が腫れています。今回は病院に連れて行きません。阿花は自分たちで治療しました。父が言うには、猫はいつも喧嘩ばかりで、野良猫は目が腫れていても病院に行かないそうです。ハハハ！ I know, this song is not from my generation. But I have known this song since day one, because in HK, they have this Cantonese version performed by one of the most popular HK singers named Roman Tam. I have been listening to this song in my dad's car since day one. However, I did a little research and suddenly, I couldn't believe the origin of this song. It' is one of Beethoven's songs! And it's not a song I am not familiar with. It's "Für Elise"! I was quite shocked because "Passion Flower" did come from "Für Elise". Anyways, finally I have it's this wonderful song from The Peanuts again! Hope you like it! Yes, I am still on summer holiday, but I am a lot busier than what I thought I'd be. I have band practice of course, I am writing new songs, I have to get songs ready for a few live shows scheduled for September, and I think the TV station contacted my dad and they wanted to produce a special feature about our band The Cotton Kids. They will send their camera crew over and they will follow us to a few places and film and interview us. It sounds like fun already, doesn't it? I know it's going to be fun. Meanwhile, I am preparing vlogs on my own, ands I hope they will be ready soon. The rain came down non-stop for the whole day and many places in our city, specially on the island side have been inundated. I did go out and had a great dinner, but my dad was driving us, so I didn't get my shoes wet. So other than writing songs at home and waiting for the video crew to come over to film this video, what else have I been doing other than the vlogs? Well, please sit tight and don't jump up from your seat in case you are sitting down. I have been watching Ah Hua fighting with our guest cat Aki. Ah Hua wants to play but always wants some quiet time for herself. Result? Since Ah Hua is 1.5 years old and Aki is 6, and she came from rough places probably, Ah Hua has a swollen eye. I am not taking him to the vet again. We treated him by ourselves. My dad says cats fight always, and stray cats don't go to the vet when they have a swollen eye.
