I'm a huge Nightwish fan, I like all of their "eras" for different reasons and the current Floor one is amazing in its own regards! When I heard there's gonna be a new Nightwish album I was so happy and then they came up with a new song, too! I love how the new "Noise" sounds just like Nightwish while still being somehow fresh and new at the same time. This collab started from my good friend and partner in crime Psamathes, when she contacted me about this upcoming new Nightwish song she knew we HAD to cover together! We worked a few times in the past on similar covers like One-Winged Angel from FF7, so this wasn't completely new territory! After the song came out, I immediately began working on the arrangement for it and thought something was missing... I then saw my buddy Ferdk getting excited about a new Nightwish album and single that I knew this was our perfect first collab! And here we go, we tried our best keeping the original song's feel while adding our own stuff and my friends absolutely KILLED IT with their parts! Huge thanks to them, be sure to check them out as they are far better than me in every way. ;) This is also the channel debut of my new guitar, woohoo!! It's the new Harley Benton Dullahan FT headless guitar which is a fantastic piece of gear, I love it so much. Plays beautifully and since recording this cover I even changed the tuning to D standard and now it sounds even more MASSIVE -- I can't wait to play around with it even more! Finally, this is also being uploaded on my birthday (March 5th), talk about coincidences! I swear I didn't plan this at all.
