To generate electricity, they use biogas deriving from livestock effluent and cereal silage, and by burning wheat straw in thermoelectric generators they supply electric energy and heat to the surrounding cities and business activities. Thanks to water storage, they reduced water consumption by 30% per square meter of field crops over the last 10 years.
