As the name implies, this integrated rail crossing serves the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi areas which are included in DKI Jakarta and West Java. LRT Jabodebek began operating on August 28, 2023 after being inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo and operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia.[2] The construction of LRT Jabodebek involved four state-owned companies namely PT Adhi Karya, PT Len Industri, PT INKA, and PT Kereta Api Indonesia. The Jabodebek LRT service held an operational trial which was divided into 2 stages, starting from July 12 to 26, 2023 which was intended for the Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Railways, journalists, and the community, while July 27 to August 15, 2023 will be tested for the general public who have registered through an online form.
