Hello dear travelers and Welcome to Timeless Adventures! In this video we take you on a walking tour through golden horn bridge for a ferry ride from Karakoy to the Asian side Kadikoy. The Golden Horn Bridge in the evening is fully packed with fishers. Our stay was at Hotel Troya Balat which overlooks the Golden Horn. This casual hotel is 3 km from the buzzing Grand Bazaar, 4 km from the Hagia Sophia Museum and 6 km from The Blue Mosque. The Golden Horn is a major urban waterway and the primary inlet of the Bosphorus in Istanbul. The Haliç Bridge or Golden Horn Bridge is a road bridge across the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. It connects the neighbourhoods of Ayvansaray in the southwest and Halıcıoğlu in the northwest. The bridge carries the O-1 motorway, also known as the Istanbul Inner Beltway. The ferries are the most popular form of public transport in Istanbul for one simple reason – if you’re a local, you’re always in a hurry except when you’re on a ferry travelling from one side of the city to the other. You have around 20 minutes to enjoy amazing views of the Bosphorus over a cup of Turkish tea. Not only are ferries part of Istanbul’s identity and good public transport options, they’re also a great way to do some sightseeing, with terminals near Topkapi Palace, the Maiden's Tower and the Galata Tower. The Ferry fare to Karakoy - Kadikoy Ferry (Karaköy - Kadıköy Vapuru) costs about ₺7.67.
