procrastinating from so much right now 🙃 started with the jon hopkins inspired bass thingy (the original idea was to rip off the bass in "luminous beings") implemented in an unnecessarily byzantine way but that's what happens when you build something with no real plan and never stop to refactor, whether software or modular patches rings sounds cool and it's not from any "tape" or "lofi" plugin in the box that's all from feeding its output (summed to mono) mixed with some white noise into the fm input. one of my fav tricks, anywhere from "a bit off" to "dusty" (how i'd describe the sound here) to "completely broken" depending on where you set the fm depth beads granularizing its built-in wavetable oscillator on the "harmonic series" wavetable, sounds great but i do wish it was possible to bypass just that "minor 7th" harmonic :P reasonably pleased with how i performed this patch, no egregiously silly mistakes at least. definitely would have benefitted from more drums than just the dfam and randomized plaits mix, squid salmple is very high on the wish list to do drums and other stuff but will probably be a little while til i get one
