Stay tuned for Part 2! Materials and Tools 1. Alize Softy yarn — 230 m / 100 g, in green and milky white 2. Stuffing 3. 3.5 mm crochet hook 4. 3.5 mm knitting needles 5. Stitch markers 6. Yarn needle with a large eye 7. Safety eyes with posts 8. Craft glue (to secure the eyes) 9. Sewing pins 10. Scissors 11. Needle threader Abbreviations sc — single crochet inc — increase (2 sc in one stitch) dec — decrease ch — chain sl st — slip stitch MR — magic ring rnd — round row — row st(s) — stitch(es) RS — right side WS — wrong side k — knit p — purl sts — stitches 3 ways to crochet with fluffy yarn and not lose your stitches: 1. Feel each stitch with your fingers. Gently move the fibers aside and find every stitch by touch before inserting your hook. 2. Insert your hook into the stitch you just made and locate the next stitch from there. This helps you stay oriented and avoid skipping stitches. 3. Place stitch markers at regular intervals. I place a marker every 5 stitches. I like this method because I don’t have to recount my stitches later.
