Procedure: 1) Dip pH meter in distilled water and wipe it with paper towel. 2) Pour 250ml water in 2 beakers. Add pH buffer solutions in 250ml water filled beakers and stir it to dissolve. 3) Put the thermometer in the beaker and check temperature. Value of pH at different temperatures is mentioned on backside of the packet. Temperature was around 25 degree C. 4) Turn on pH meter, put in 6.86pH buffer solution and press calibrate button for 5 seconds. You will see the pH value (6.86) blinking on meter display. 5) Dip the pH meter in normal distilled water and clean it with a paper towel. 6) Similarly, put the pH meter in other solution, press calibrate again for 5 seconds and you will see value 4.01. 7) Clean again in distilled water and wipe with towel.
