Hello, my name is Kayla Kim and I make cooking videos for my independent school project. I am not a nutritionist nor am I an expert in this field, however, I am a student that has been researching these specific recipes and ingredients and have also been mentoring with a certified nutritionist and feeding consultant, Shalyn Yamanaka. The videos I plan on making are meals that I believe are healthy, easy to make, and delicious. I want to promote eating "healthier" alternatives to my audience, especially high school/teenage girls like myself. It is important to know that there is no defined definition of "healthy", as everyone has their own perceptions as to good for you vs what is less healthy and bad for their diet. Everyone has different essential needs and wants in their diets, and different body processes and metabolisms thus, there really is no legal definition to apply these principles and reality. You should always enjoy the food you are eating and that's key to achieving a healthy relationship with food and a healthier eating lifestyle. I hope you all can watch some of my recipes that I will be making, and give it a big thumbs up.
